FREE small business insurance tips in Loxton

Small business owners and operators can learn how to get the right insurance at a free breakfast event hosted by business resilience expert Renae Hanvin in Loxton on Wednesday, October 18.

Renae will talk about:

- Four ways to purchase insurance

- How to not underinsure

- Risk reduction for cheaper insurance

- Building connections with your insurer

The talk (originally scheduled for Berri and now at Loxton) is part of a program of community and online talks by social enterprise Resilient Ready that has operated across South Australia since August to develop 10 micro-learning modules to help people in small business think differently about insurance.

Resilient Ready CEO and founder Ms Hanvin said insurance was critical for every micro to small business – ``but it doesn’t have to be boring’’.

``I’ve been a small business owner for many years and know firsthand the relief that appropriate, adequate insurance brings, especially in this era of compound disasters where it’s not a matter of `if’ but `when’ the worst will happen.’’

The free talk with breakfast provided by The Country Bakehouse will be held at Loxton Business Hub (facing the roundabout), Lot 7 Bookpurnong Terrace, Loxton, from 7.30am to 8.30am on Wednesday, October 18. Email info@resilientready.org with any questions.
