Welcome to 2010! We hope you had a wonderful festive season and wish you all the best for the year ahead.
As you can see from our galleries, David has been busy photographing several picturesque spots on the NSW coast.
Many people have asked us for beach scenes during the past few months, so that is just what we have delivered. Enjoy the result. We'd love your feedback.

The madness of the silly season has passed and we are about to enter 2010. We welcome whatever new adventures, trials and challenges that await us.
Already, we have many plans and new prospects.
Keep your eye out for the February/March edition of Australian Traveller magazine which will include a travel story about bush tucker by us.
David and I will be away from Thursday, December 31, until the end of January hunting and gathering new images and stories, and resting from the year that has been. Please continue to visit this site often to see the world through our eyes.
By the way, we have half finished our exciting secret project and aim to unveil it by June, along with a range of new products for all budgets.

With just a few more sleeps until Santa, David and Ellen Hill wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Thank you to all those lovely people who have supported us in so many ways during the past six months establishing Deep Hill Fine Art Media.

You might have noticed that David has been busy uploading more galleries of gorgeous images and adding to existing stock.
With Christmas just around the corner, we invite you to have a browse.
Remember, a photograph is like a piece of fine furniture. It can create atmosphere, change the mood of a room and project the emotions words cannot say. Images can remind you of a special place you have visited or an intimate space in your heart.
If you would like to pick up a bargain, we will have a stall at Richmond Lions Club Market, March St, Richmond, from 9am to 2pm this Saturday. We will have a range of unframed A4 photographs ($50) as well as a select range of limited edition framed A4 images for sale at the special price of $300.
As always, we look forward to meeting new people, so make sure you visit us there.
Let us know what you think about the new images. Send a message to .

Thank you to everyone who visited us at Blue Gum Market, Faulconbridge, on Saturday. The heat was awful, but your appreciation of David's photographs certainly made our day and we enjoyed chatting to many lovely people.
We will have another stall at Richmond Lions Club Market, Richmond Park, Lennox St, on Saturday, December 12.
While you're here, be sure to check out our new Darling River photo gallery of images taken during a recent trip to the NSW Central West and beyond. There are also some additions to the Nepean Gorge and Yarramundi galleries, and David is off shooting up a storm today.
So it's not too late to place your Christmas orders.

Attending a community event today made us further realise what a beautiful community we live in. It is not just the World Heritage Listed national park which makes the Blue Mountains special _ it is the people.
We met more of our community at a White Ribbon Day breakfast at Springwood Library this morning where Mayor Adam Searle, Blue Mountains police, social and welfare workers and various other community and business people who, by their attendance, supported the commitment to stop violence against women and girls.
Our Australian society, with its freedoms, luxuries and safety, is precious. Let's keep it that way for all.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on the subject. Send a message to .

The heat wave that has hit NSW this week has been rather uncomfortable, but what great conditions for shooting photos _ the steam, the light, the atmosphere.
David left home at the crack of dawn yesterday and spent time in the serenity of Yarramundi Reserve at the foothills of the Blue Mountains.
You will see for yourself the beautiful colours and layers that abound at that time of the morning as he uploads his images to the website in the next few days.
Tell us how you have taken advantage of the heat. Send us a message to .

Leaving the security of a large company and a full-time job and starting a small business is a bit like giving birth, they say.
I agree.
The whole experience is equally very scary and exciting.
Suddenly, we have been thrust into the world of business, marketing, customers and management while trying to concentrate on our core products _ the very basis of our business.
Our business is actually our life, and we are fortunate to be able to share our life with you through our photographs and words.
Now that we are finally established, with a brand new website, we can introduce Deep Hill Fine Art Media to our immediate community and beyond.
Our website will continue to change and evolve, so make sure to visit us often.
We are also working on a very exciting project, but we can't share the secret for another six months, so watch this space.
We'd love to hear your feedback. Send us a message to .
